Biggest difference I noticed riding them back to back was dampening and weight.

Proto lighter, SL damper? what sizes did you ride?

Yes, and both the same size. Both can be considered quiver killers I suppose, but at the same time there almost never is one board that does it all perfectly.

Out of curiosity I emailed them.
