Capita NAS(Quiver Killer): should i pull the trigger

I found a Capita NAS online for $299.
Im looking for a board to replace my ride antic which i grew out of.
Im 155 - 160 pounds, 5''10'. Size 12 boot
i ride Groomers, Ice, park and pow.
I was planning on going to a huge snowboard swap this weekend.
Should i wait to see if i find anything better or cheaper there.
Is the NAS as good as the awards and everything make it seem.
If i could get a ride antic at the swap for like 200 bucks should i get that or the NAS for 300.
Also i dont have my boots yet but im a size 11.5 / 12. What size board should i get. 162?
The online shop has a 159, would size 11.5 boots work with that.

Might I ask how many different boards have you ridden?

JJZ-

The Nas is a fun directional twin all mountain attacker-

The 159 has a 25.70 Waist Width which will fit your size 12 fine- What bindings are you using on these?

The 2013 NAS has a re-tooled shape, and new sizes including a 157 Wide Which may fit your height and boot size better-

Reason I ask that is cause the Antic really isn't that great a board. The thing with the Quiver Killer is it's full camber. And with all the great reverse camber boards out there that are generally more liked than camber at this point, maybe one of those is a better option. If you really like camber then have at it.

I liked it but considering i think you own a snowboard shop i will take your word for it.
I have been looking at the great reverse cambers and some of them do actually look really good. Especially the never summers. At first i thought no reverse camber hybrids would be good in ice but im seeing that isnt the case. Im looking at a bunch of board but in the end it will be whatever board that can do everything well for the best price either online or at the swap im going to

I rode the 160w NAS last spring at Stevens Pass. It's a traditional camber board, and it rides exactly how you would expect it to. If you love camber, then go for it. If you want to see how much fun a hybrid camber is, then skip the NAS and look at something else.

Oh yeah!? Well, my mom says I'm cool!

Burton jeremy jones

Ended up with a Burton jeremy jones which i snagged for 200 bucks.
Traditional camber but possibly slightly more freestyle oriented than i would like but from the reviews online it looks like due to the traditional camber it can still hold its own carving.
