Help choosing new board - Snowboarding Forum

Hey everyone I'm looking to buy a board and if I'm going to be spending a lot of money I want to be buy something that will fit my needs perfectly and last me a long time. I'm looking for any reccomendation on what type of board you think would fit me.

Here's about me:
-I'm 20, 6', 165 pounds
- I've been snowboarding for 8 years but I consider myself a good snowboarder.
-I rarely do park but I'll do any run on the mountain
-I love powder, moguls, carving, trees, speed.
- I'm looking for a board that's good at carving, holds an edge well at speed and is really responsive in the moguls

Are you going to be riding snow out east? My friends about the same specs and he really enjoyed the Capita midlife Zero, but he is into park, so that might not be what you're looking for.

What kind if money are you looking to spend. There are quite a few boards out there that will get the job done and do it well depending on what brand and what budget you have.

I'm not concerned about money as much as I am concerned with finding a board that will fit my needs perfectly. I've been thinking about a directional board as well just because they fit more the kind of boarding I do.
