Okay guys this may seem like a ridiculous question but I recently purchased a 2012 NS SL 155 off an online source and recieved it a couple days ago. It's way different than any other board I've owned or seen. The top coat seems to be ridgy and the bottom looks like its wood. Other than that it seems fine.
I guess my question is if this is normal lol?! Thanks guys |

I didnt even think about that. Im new to the forum but you're right. I'm driving back from up north (I live in MI) so ill post a couple pictures when I'm home.
I just feel like maybe the way the NS boards are made are different than other boards. I've owned a burton and a K2 before. The coating over the top graphic just doesn't seem as smooth as other boards and the bottom seems grainy. Maybe it's just because I've never owned a NS. Thanks for the response and advice! |

Not working.
edit. I sent you a PM with my email address, if you have trouble hosting the picture just send them to me and I'll get them up there for you! edit2. Also, it seems the issue is we can't view it without logging on to the private server/account you're using. Try setting it to public, if not possible sign up for photobucket or something. I can only comment on the base and it's right on. The way it should appear from the picture. The top sheet looks different than my Proto CT but I don't have a 2012 SL to compare to, so I'd go with Bones on this one.
Also, if you're still uncertain you can always email info@neversummer.com with the pictures, they've always replied back to me in a day or two. |
