Now i'm looking at the Burton Hero 2012 (can find it new for €300 without bindings).
It's a rocker shape but i'm reading that the 2012 Hero is still doing good when you're carving down the slopes.. anybody experience with the Hero?

I'll use it for allmountain riding (not really park), especially slopes & powder en some small jumps..

Hi,

Putting a size 9 foot in a size 11 boot in a size 12/13 binding is a recipe for heel lift/foot slop. If we have the correct info for you I would highly suggest that you not go that route.

Would it be possible for you to take a photo of your bare foot up against the bottom of the boot liner?

I tested them yesterday at Landgraaf (indoor slope) and i have to say they fit good. (maybe the openin for me leg is a bit wide, but actually i liked that bit of loose. (also where the rental bindings very loose)

Maybe it's just the model, or Rome who makes their shoes smaller then the actual size?

My opinion is that this gear is too large. Your photo shows that the boot is in the neighborhood of 3 inches longer than your foot. The liner will eat up at most one of those inches and the shell a little more, but that still leaves too much space (and they have not packed in yet). Putting a loose fitting boot inside bindings that are too large for them again is not suggested. I know that is not what you were hoping to hear, but i figure it is better to put this out there now.

I think he means the bindings are the 2012/13 model, not necessarily size 12/13 (which for Burton would be large)...

Completely agree, that looks way too large. As I said before, a size 11/44.5 boot with a 27cm foot was probably wrong - not impossible, but highly unlikely. The picture confirms for me that the boots are too big.

Which means that they are the correct size for your boots, but both the boots and the bindings are way too big for your feet...
