ive been searching online for a new board and seem to run across the "second" boards. claims its just a small blemish that one could harly notice. anybody have any experience with this? is just better to spend the xtra few bucks for a regular board?

well ive seen this before and a small blemish is just the paint color is off or the design is tilted. im pretty sure it tells you on the sight, i dont think small blemishes change preformance though

Well it depends what kind of condition it is in and how old it is.

Please be careful with statements like this. A "second" is not a used product. It is brand new, just like any other product. Usually a second has a superficial problem, like a blurred graphic, or occasionally an out of round screw hole or something like that. Seconds come with the regular warranty from the company and will perform exactly the same as a "pristine" version of the same product.

I have a Burton second. I couldn't even find what the 'problem' was. And I literally looked for like 20 minutes.
