Two reasons actually, I demoed it and felt it was a little stiff for what I was looking for although it was a very fun and poppy board, and super light... Also I found the arbor on sale for 270$$ and heard good things so I thought I'd just try something different. I do love the way the westmark rides but it will be retired after one season.... I'm debating between the evo and possibly the bataleon boss for next years board... But haven't decided yet. I do still have my 161 SL and ride that still too.

They aren't. Smokin' does as well as another I can't quite think of. Possibly Camp 7? One of the lesser known brands Wiredsports carries anyway.

how was the proto compared to your sl
