Banana Magic's "magical mystery sidecut?" - Snowboarding Forum

So what's the deal with the sidecut on the lib Tech Banana Magic? Is it just a really deep sidecut? Their website doesn't give any details except that the sidecut radius is 7 (meters I assume) compared to 8 for similarly sized boards.

What does this deep (or somehow different) sidecut change the ride?

A 7 meter side cut would make the board about a 782? So unless you are a magical giant you may want to re-think this board altogether.

7 meter radius, not length

7 compared to 8 will give sharper turns if you are carving otherwise it wont make a difference other than being narrower in the middle.
