Indiana board suggestion?
Looking for a new board this season to handle conditions mostly in Indiana and the Midwest and can go from the peak to the park. Depending on the boot I'll be about a 10.5 or 11.
Also looking for bindings & boots so need some good options for those too! Any suggestions? |
Nice to c an indiana native on here I thought I was the only one
It can get a bit discouraging listing to all these people talk about there big Mountains and all we have is 2 hills paoli and perfect north boo!! As for you Delima I rind mostly park but look for something like a burton custom Should do you fine little stuff but better for all around I'm getting ready to pick up a super hero and going to Vermont in a month To hit up killington Let me know where u ride well have to meet up some time. |
Good to see some fellow hoosiers on here! I bought a Neversummer Evo last year and love it. Its great in the park but does all mountain good to. For bindings check out the rome boss 390's burton cartels and burton malavitas.
I normally ride at bittersweet,Michigan or Mad River Mtn. OH. |
Jones!
OK i'll get my jacket. |
STOKED!
Please post up your weight as well. Weight and foot size are the (most important) specs that will determine the correct board for you. Do you have you eyes on any particular brands/models yet? |

Marhar Snowboards Handmade in Grand Rapids, Michigan Throwback for allmountain crusing, or Mystick if you're more in to park/jibbing. Made in the USA, by real midwesterners, in the midwest :) |
There are tons of great do it all boards out there, from just about every manufacturer. Ones I like:
Capita Indoor FK & Outdoor Nitro Rook K2 Happy Hour Rome Agent & Reverb |
Adding to Hot-Ice's suggestions
Union Contact Pro/Union Atlas/Union Force Maybe even flows if your runs are really short... As far as boots go, try on as many as you possibly can. The most comfy is the one you should buy. |
So far I have been looking a lot at the Burton Process Flying V and the Forum Youngblood. Bindings I've been really interested in something like the Malavitas or Cartel, maybe a Flux DS30 or RK30
