Ride Manic Base?

I just picked up a 2012 Ride Manic board. It says it has a Fusion 1500 Base, what ever that has to do with it. Is it that extruded or sintered? I haven't been able to find it any where.

Extruded! Most boards under $400 have an extruded base.

What do you think about extruded bases? I've read some people say they are awful but some say it doesn't matter that much.
