A smaller/narrower board that rivals Blacklist?

I'm looking for an all-mountain board that I can still jib about in the park on. I picked up a Skate Banana with RK30s and intend to use that when I'm really slaying the park, but it isn't going to handle much speed on the rest of the mountain.

As far as all-mountain boards go, the Arbor Blacklist has high reviews, but as a smaller guy it's not an option for me.

What boards would you recommend, that will match a Blacklist for me? Pair it with bindings if you know of a good match.

5"8, 140lbs, US 8 (25cm foot length for leverage)

westmark :) which would be the narrower version of the bl

Yeah, if you're looking for a narrow blacklist, its the Westmark, which is a ... narrow Blacklist lol. Or more accurate, the Blacklist is a midwide Westmark

Awesome, can you tell I'm new to paying attention to boards? ;)

What bindings would you pair the Westmark up with?

Also, between the 150 and 153, which would you recommend?

Obviously the 150 would be better in the park and 153 have better stability elsewhere, but because of my small feet (25cm actual foot length) narrow means everything.

150 is a 24.8cm, 153 is 25.0cm at the waist.

I ride +12/-12 so I figure 150 would be the safer bet. Thoughts? :)

I have the 150 and 7.5 boots, so I can check but my board is at my parent's house since it shipped there and I never picked it up. I'll go check for it.

Last year I had Malavita's on the Evo and it seemed like a good combo. I'm putting 390 bosses on mine.

More than enough to power it. Any mid-flex binding will work, they're all pretty similar. hell your existing binding might even work. the Westmark is pretty soft.

No experience with the skate banana but aren't they similar boards? Not in performance but along the use/flex spectrum

or you can go with the tt30 if you think your rk's are too soft.

They are both park-oriented rockers, as most of my sticks probably will be when I amass a bigger collection, but I just don't see the Skate Banana holding up to much speed if I decide to bomb it down a groomer. The edge hold is pretty good on it though, especially for rocker.

But as I'll be using my Banana almost exclusively for the park (it's 148N, who wouldn't? ;) ) once I pick up my next board, so I'll be going with a slightly sturdier binding on the Westmark.

Think I've settled for the 150 Westmark, so now it's just bindings! I'll be leaving my RKs on my Banana so I'll need an alternative, something new and stiffer.

TT30s seem like a solid bet, how do these compare to other brands in the same price range? I'm a big fan of Flux, but I'm not going to miss trying something new if there is an alternative. Thanks again.

No experience with the flux except the DMCC lights.

I like the Malavita personally. But if you like Flux stick with them.
