Default How do you pronounce "Gnu"?

As the title suggests. I have heard it pronounced "Nu" (silent G) and "Guh-Nu" (hard G).
Which is it?

i've always thought that quote was a bunch of bull. just something people say so that when you ask one of those stupid questions, you don't feel like such a dumbass. i think people should know if they're dumb
