Need Help Finding Soft Board for Park - Snowboarding Forum

It was opening day in WI, and I went to the park with my Ride DH 2011-2012. It is my second year snowboarding, and I have only been going for about the last third of the season the year before. I have picked up fast, and I am looking for a board under $600 that can butter, hit boxes, rails and still butter out shaky jump landings. So far I have been having a tough time finding something like that online. I mainly to to hit features such as

corrugated pipes

20-30 ft Kickers

rails

boxes

(in no particular order)

Board Size (edit) I prefer to ride a short board. I am 5'9'' 125 Lbs. I have a 148 right now. I am 16, if age would matter for whatever it counts for. I'd like to keep my next board between 147-150 cm.

Other info- I ride slightly duck footed 18/-6, I have 2012 K2 Formula Bindings, and 2012 K2 Raider boots. I ride mainly in slushy groomed man-made snow.

All I need is for someone to try and point me the right way as far as new boards go.

All suggestions appreciated, thanks in advance.

Ha, yeah, I'll say it. Look at NeverSummer. Just do it. Buy one, you'll love it. I have the Evo, and while it's not the softest board out there, and not the absolute easiest to butter, I am in love with the thing. Other wise, maybe take a look at Rome: Artifact, garage rocker, etc.

I've used my Evo to hit such features as:

corrugated pipes

20-30 ft Kickers

rails

boxes

Look at the Capita Horrorscope and Ultrafears. If you decide you want to stay with a traditional camber profile, check out the Stairmaster!

No Horror. They break. Kid on my couch broke 4 last year. Ultra is very soft, there are options with similar stiffness that give a little more snap. If you still like camber the Stair is a decent option.

Echelon Rounds, Flow Verve, Salomon Drift Rocker, Bataleon Disaster, Endeavor Color, Nitro Swindle, or Signal Park Flat.

i love my skate banana for all of that. they come in like 6 different colours too if you care about matching.
