New board .. but is it right for me, thoughts.

Whats up everybody, Ive recently bought a new lib tech skate banana 156 .. its waist width is 255mm .. I have size 11 boots, will this be an issue? I was told it shouldn't be but just want some thoughts... also I am 6'3 , 190lbs ...
I know the board is a little on the small side, but I already ride a 162 k2 board and Its massive for jibbing and throwing down some rotations ... So what are your opinions on a small board this size for my size? I;ll be riding it behind my house on a hill.. mainly powder with homemade jumps , boxes , rails etc ...might try it on the mountain at the local resort , THOUGHTS !! ?

Boot size/board width depends on what angles you have your bindings at, and if your boot is bulky for it's size. Mount your bindings and strap your boot in, look for overhang... post pics and see what people think

You should be fine board width wise.

Board is obviously on the small side for somebody of your size. I would say too small unless it is a pure jib deck/quiver board - which it sounds like it maybe for you. Don't expect a lot of float in powder though, despite the rocker - just not enough surface area.

Its fine. It'd fit 12's comfortably.

as for length though, would the 6cm difference really be that much noticeable ?

Short answer: Yes.

Slightly longer answer: Comparison will obviously also depend on the characteristics of your current board. If the K2 is a stiff camber deck, then the Banana will feel very different anyway - and much more so being 6cm shorter.
