Hey I'd consider myself an intermediate rider. I currently have a burton blunt and im thinking about upgrading and was wondering if the cx is my best option. I do mostly downhill, no parks or jumps, do have a slight interest but I've never tried. I've always rode a burton and I'm quite comfortable with them I'm just wondering what others think of the cx

i dunno what would make me an intermediate to advanced boarder, ive been boarding for almost 4 years now. im a pretty decent rider in my opinion, on big mountains i go down blacks, usually stay away from the doubles. why would this be a bad board for me?

to the OP, the custom x is a stiffer version of the custom. The custom will be more playful, while the custom x is for going fast for example....but you'll see lots of pros on the cx in the pipe and on kickers. Get it if you like stiff boards |

Its a stiff super responsive camber deck. Meaning if you aren't always on top of it it will eat you up. Its the type of board you either KNOW you want it, or you don't want it.
