I havn't snowboarded in about 12 years. I used to ride regularly back then as I was a lift operator. My board was a burton custom. I would consider my self intermediate back then and preferred all mountain riding. I am going to snowboard a lot this season as I moved back to within an hour of tahoe. I found a new 2012 rome mod rocker for $285.00 shipped. The site states it is for advanced to expert riders. Is this board not going to be any fun for me? Will it just kick my ass regularly? I don't want to buy some thing that I won't enjoy riding. I have no idea what my riding abilities are now as it has been so long ago but I want an all mountain board which is why I was looking at this board. Looking forward to your opinions. The sale ends tonight!

might be more parkish than you want as it is a true twin although i hear it is reasonably stiff/capable of doing everything but you will sacrifice float a bit with no setback.
There is a review on angrysnowboarder.com that should give you an idea. Also some members here have ridden it so if you search you can probably find the info you want. |
