I have the first NS Board from the 2001-2002 Freeride series. Just got lucky I guess. The serial number is 00001. I'm curious is there is market for this kind of thing or if people are interested in buying these boards. I did use it the first year, so it is used, but only rode about 20 days on it. Just putting out a feeler. Thanks.

I couldn't see it garnering too much attention despite the obvious novelty of being the first edition. Unless it was a limited edition or just an absolutely killer board then you might be able to make a profit on it. Also having rode it might detract from any such value. If I were you I'd just keep it and
cause I'm sure getting one of those is a rare occurence. Of course I could be wrong as well and in such a case I hope you make as much money off of it as possible should you try and sell it.

I don't know if it’s a 10 year anniversary or not.??? Good question. If you look at the picture I attached, it’s the blue board. I've not used it since the 2000-2001 winter. Currently, its sitting in my attic collecting dust. I've always liked it, but here recently, I was just curious if anyone out there collects NS or certain/rare boards. Definitely the attraction to it is the serial number. Just kinda cool that it was the first one of that line of boards. I might just hang on to it unless someone is really interested in it. You never know...
Thanks! |
