Never Summer riders: anyone ever set in a bevel?

Kinda specific question: Never Summers come at a straight 90/90 out of the factory. I'm feeling my Cobra is a little catchy compared to my older SL, and am thinking of getting a new edge set in. Anyone ever done this and how did it affect the ride for you?

Before anyone mentions detuning the contact points, I hate the feeling of detuned boards. It's been a few years since I tried it, but I've never liked the feeling of not having bite in the contact points, especially since this is already a R.C. board.

On cambered boards, I've typically liked a 1.5/1.5 base/side bevel, but have never set a new bevel into a RC stick before. I imagine if I don't like a bevel it's going to be a PITA to get it back to factory settings, so want to get as much info as I can before I commit.

I would recommend you give the new board some time. How old is your old SL? When I first switched to a RC board, it took me a good 5 days or so to feel comfortable on it and to really get a feel of the edge control. Now I love the hell out of it.

The SL was the 09 model. Same rocker and camber set-up. Also ridden a Heritage, a Proto, and put probably 6-8 days on the Cobra by now.

I added a 1.0 bevel to my proto, i like it just fine that way.
