Does my board fit me?
Hey,
I have a 2006 Burton Custom thats a 154mm I'm 5'7" and weight about 210 pounds Is that to big for that board? The board says 120-170 pounds but does the weight really make a difference? Thanks. |
Pushing it. Are you still growing?
|
Over 200 is definitely pushing it. I have rode customs, the biggest being a 158 or 59, but I'm 160 pounds. 210 is too much weight for a mid flexing boards like the customs

I am not still growing
Last season I rode that board when i was 250 I lot some weight since then. Is it bad riding that board at my weight? Whats the problems I may have. Also would it be better if I rode a 2006 Baron ES..I believe its a wide board. I have a 10 boot size Thanks. |
If you're not growing then you could squeak by. I would recommend looking for new boards though. If you like the custom just get and upgraded version. They're stiffer so you could still stay a little bit small.

To give you an idea. I am 6ft and 150 Ilbs. I ride a 154 for all mountain. That's about what I should be at. I actually like shorter boards, but because I am so tall it doesn't work too well.

My friend has a Baron ES Wide thats 156.
Would that be better for me? If it will be better he wants to trade me |
Also why is riding that I am to heavy a bad thing?
What are the disadvantages? |
