I just bought a new rome crail, which says it is pre-waxed. I will not go snowboarding until December in Tahoe. Should I wax it for the summer being that it has never been ridden? Also, what kind of wax should I use for my trip to Tahoe in December?

I'd say it should be fine for the summer, but I would wax it at th e beginning of the season if you don't do it now. However, wax it if the base is all dry - the Gnu RC I just bought was dry as hell and it hadn't been used yet (There were white lines all down the base from dryness).
I don't know what type of wax for Tahoe though.
