New rider, 5'5" 150 - 160lbs, size 12 boots. I picked up a atomic alibi 155 and some k2 darko boots from craigslist. I have been up twice after lots of youtube vids and trolling here. I am doing ok but I feel the board is too long and kicks my butt when in the rough stuff. I like to ride all day and this thing takes alot of effort to get down the ugly stuff. I need suggestions for something that takes less effort and will fit my boots/bindings. Possibly the Burton Nug in 142 or 144??

after more reading.. the thread about rocker, camber etc.. I now know why catching an edge is so easy and violent with the Alibi. I learned the hard way to stay on an edge. The Burton Nug is a rocker board and meant to be ridden shorter. This should make life on the mountain much less destructive to my body. I will keep the Alibi for future use. Thank You!!
