Extruded base and Freestyle tips please!

Hi there,

I've been riding for about 6 months, I reckon I'm progressing pretty quickly, I can boardslide, 180, butter a bit, nose and tail presses and 50/50 rails/pipes/boxes of most shapes.

My question is, I'm having trouble with the 360, I'm getting around 270 and falling on my arse every time. I'm trying to snap my head around faster and whip my shoulders in but I always spin block myself. Also I'm finding it hard to grow balls enough to try spins on boxes and rails. Any tips?

Also, I have a forum honeypot 2012. It says it has a 'freebase' but I reckon this is just another term for extruded base because it feels very slow on dryslope and wax doesn't stay in it very well. Plus it's been relatively easy to damage.

In case it matters, I have union flite bindings and nike 2013 boots.

don't just turn your head. Look through your armpit. That will get you around. Spinning onto rails, commit. That's all it is. Commit and accept you'll fall and probably get a little boo boo.

Freebase is extruded. Structure does more than waxing. Get it tuned with a good base grind and it will help.

Snowboarding Is...

That thing I do to escape the world and have fun with my friends
