Shorter Board Length - Snowboarding Forum

As some of you know i am in the market for a freestyle board. I found this deal but the things is the board is a 145cm. I am 5 foot 11 and weigh 155 pounds. Would this be too short for park? Like how short should i go?

Personal preference and the specific board enter into the equation too, but since you're a new rider I'll just throw out a number to keep you happy. That board would be way too short for you, don't go any lower than, say, 150cm. Try to stick in between 150-155 for your jib deck.

You could technically ride a 145 and still be happy with it, but if I were you, I wouldn't.
