I'm in a similar situation, I'm thinking of surprising my g/f with a new board for her birthday.
I don't have any first hand experience with Flow boards, but I'm very much into hybrid camber profiles. I would think that a noob (like my girl), or anyone who isn't too strong, would benefit from the easy turn initiation you get from reverse camber underfoot. The tip/tail contact points should give the extra control and stability that a true rocker board lacks. So for a soft playfull ride that'll still work great on groomers and pow, I'd go with either the Velvet or Venus. I know you didn't ask, so if you can't find these for the same or less money than those flows, disregard...But otherwhise you might want to check the Salomon Gypsy and Forum the Spinster, theyt should have sililar tech/profiles if I'm not mistaking. |

Thanks Thom.
Already ordered a myriad so will see how she likes it. I definately agree with you though, sounds like the ez rock would make a fun easy ride. It was the other tech like the carbon shooters, sintered base and i found a great price that helped my decision. Im hoping the popcam camber it comes with will be an easier ride than her current camber board. |
