I've been riding a Capita Sierrascope 56 for a few seasons now and the time has come to replace it. I really like the shape (rocker/flat/rocker). I would like to stick with something close to that if possible. Otherwise I like the park board that can shred the mountain. The local shop suggested the Salomon Sabotage or the Arbor Blacklist. I'm leaning toward the blacklist currently, but still undecided. I guess an Ultrafear isn't completely out of the question but I'm looking to try something else. All I can say is I want the same versatility, park, groomers, trees, powder.
Please sound off, for or against, suggestions, etc. Thanks |

blacklist hands down, not for nothing BA calls it board of the years (2)
but if u like rockeréflatérocker, why not looking into another capita fk tech? i have the same sierrascope 56 purple, love it to death, i was learning on another board on green slopes before riding it, and first day on the scope i do double diamond... board does make such a difference it was a 3 in 1 board, i think, stair master, horroscope and indoor. mine has 60+ days on it now and its almost retiring... gl finding a replacement, let me know what u end up with |

So you told your shop that you kinda want to stick with Flat to rocker and they suggest a full reverse deck and a deck with no rocker at all? Interesting.
They are both fantstic boards though. And While BA uses the Blacklist as his daily and has for 2 years now, dont count out the Sabotage. For me it was one of the best boards I've ever been on. For flat to rocker what really comes to mind is the K2 Fastplant, Signal Rocker Light, Echelon Franken, or maybe an Indoor FK. My top Picks though regardless of bend for a quiver of one board are the two you've been suggested already, the Franken, Bataleon Whatever, Nitro Rook, Flow Era, Burton Easy Livin, or a Signal OG Flat.

@Weipim, you're right it was something like 3 boards in one. I love it. Yea, I would say mine is around 100ish days. It's cracked or broken in two places.
I am considering another Capita, but I'm also kind of wanting to try something else. Arbor and Salomon have both been in the back of mind, so when I started looking, both of those brands popped up as having something I was looking for in a board. @Nivek, I think when I told her I was looking for a park style board that could shred the whole mountain, she threw out the rocker/flat/rocker shape and just went into something that fit the style of riding. I dunno. I guess the think that makes me stray from the Sabotage is that the flex seems like its a bit on the stiff side. I still want something that's a bit playful. That's why I'm gonna get rid of my Eviltwin, its just a little too stiff. I'm still undecided, but thank you guys for your input, much appreciated. |
