I'm considering buying a 2010 Ride Slackcountry 168 on CR (it's the year with the Schmidts beer graphics). It's a little bigger than I was looking for in a pow board, but at 6'4'' 210, I figure 168 could be a pretty good stick for the deep days.
I ride a T-Rice 161.5 for everything right now, so this board will probably only be for days with 8 inches or more. Has anyone ridden the 2010 Slackcountry? From what I can find on the web it is pretty much the same as the new versions which sound like really sick boards. Last edited by schmitty34; 12-19-2012 at 10:47 AM. |

It's supposed to be alot like the K2 Gyrator I had, which means it's great on the deep days, but definitely have to manhandle it a bit on the groomers when getting back to the lift.

I'm not too concerned about performance on the groomers. Any day I use this board I will be avoiding the groomers as much as possible. |
