So I picked up a 2nd hand 2008 Burton King 167 for 50 euro.
It's my first board and I was wondering if anyone here rode it and how it was/felt/whatever. I can find some generic info online but no real rider review. Anyone actually owned/still riding one? Combined with Union Contact Pros and Northwave Freedom SL boots. Got the 167 cuz im 6.4" and 230lbs with size 11.5 boots, advanced beginner level. |

But it seems to me everyone here is on brand new or max a year old boards. I am from Holland, have no mountains and have to drive 4 hrs for a kiddie slope or 12 hrs to the Alps (Austria/Switzerland or France) Most of the gear here gets maybe a week a year on it. My 2nd hand board is 4 years old and has maybe 18 days on it. As for asking who rode/ride a Burton King, it seemed to be that riding a 4 yr old board is equivalent to riding Pamela Anderson, great in the day but antique now
