Question Christmas present!

I found this snowboard for exchange and i found it a good deal since i am sort in cash at the moment! How bad a 2nd hand board can be that I wouldn't be able to tell?

check the base for gouges. If you can see the wood interior, you have a core shot which will cost money to fix. Minor gouges don't really matter. Check the edges for breaks, bends. Check the rim of the snowboard for separation of the top and bottom layers. Check the board for cracks - You can also try bending the board. If it has a crack, it'll fold around the crack.

Also look for the amount of rust on the edges and in the binding holes. Surface rust can be cleaned. If it looks like it's pitted the metal, not so good.

Coffee is your friend. Everyone else is an acquaintance.
