Board chipped on tail, peeling back

So monday at big bear, i went boarding and had a good taste of the ice on the quarter pipe. My board got hit pretty hard on the tail from the fall, and the top sheet is chipped, peeling back a good 3 inches or so.



Sorry for the blurry focus, my phones camera is messed up. This is right on the center of the tail, so do you guys think some marine locktite epoxy would do the trick for a repair? It wouldnt come off down the road would it?

My signal did that exact same thing in a bunch of different spots on the tail and nose. I just epoxied it up good, left it clamped for 24 hours and then rode it. Yours should be fine too if you epoxy it. Just remember to not rush the curing process.

My buddy jammed his board into snow next to the chalet thinking to stick it there except there was about an inch of snow and the rest rock. It was pretty fucking funny. That piece peeled up like 8 inches, 2 inches wide. He just used woodglue to glue it down, sanded the whole tail and did a marine/surfboard style fiberglass patch. Was as bombproof as it was ugly.

At least it isnt a blown rail or deckfold.
