Is it possible to fit a 13US size in a 259mm waist width ?

Are there max/min limits for each size of boot for the waist width , and what could happen if you outreach them?

It's absolutely possible. I have done it on smaller. If your toes or heels are dragging way before you ever get up on your edge, then you are likely to run into problems. If your toes and heels don't drag at all, or not until you are way up on edge, then you're good to go. Your stance angles will have a lot to do with how well your boots fit onto your board, as will your binding adjustments.

my boards have a ww of 249 and 254
i have large cartels and wear sz13, no toe drag for me luckily

the result of toe dragging is immediate fall? Or bad response and difficulty to manage your board?

Years before I have a 259mm waist width and did not notice anything but it was difficult for me to manage fast turns and rotations!

A bigger waist width will increase board functionality for this size of boot?

Toe drag won't necessarily cause you to fall everytime, but it certainly isn't going to help keep you from falling. Especially on hardpack. A wider waist width will help reduce the overhang for a size 13. Having ridden both wide and standard sizes, I recommend a mid wide. That way you still get good response and better boot coverage.

This is either a lie or you have angles like 21,-21 or you have your bindings set way back and have significantly uneven overhang.

I wear a size 12.5-13 boot, anything less then 259 is pretty noticable. You should be fine on anything from 259 up, but i assure you the poster i quoted is wrong about his overhang. (as another poster suggested Mid-wides should work fine for you)

The only thing that I am afraid is boards response and ability in case I ride a board that has smaller waist width than I should ride ... And I do not know what to do...

Also with my Boot (Burton Ruler )"seems" that I will have no problem ! But what if I buy Vans for example or another brand??? And point that, after Burton added "Shrinkage" and all these @#$% I possible wear a 14US at Burton for example! Such a problem to be solved.

(For history, the board that I would like to ride is Burton Joystick (259mm) and the other one is Bataleon Whatever(263mm). Personally I want Joystick cause, TBT (camber) seems not to be so playful, and I do not know what to do because I am afraid of Joystick's waist width)

Last year I ride, the same board I had before, but a little shorter with a 257mm waist width and a little problem was noticeable
