First off just wanted to say that I really appreciate the help you guys give. Im a new memeber but have been reading the forums for a while.

Right now Im riding a K2 Brigade 155 with K2 Sonic bindings. Not the best setup, but it was good for the time being. Now Im going almost every week and am getting pretty solid on a board. I do a lot of mountain riding but always hit the park section and freestyle quite a bit. Last time out I rode my buddies 5150 Dealer 158board with Burton Prophecies. I really liked the feel of that board and noticed a substantial change in the way I rode with it.

I know the 5150 stuff isnt great, I loved the prophecies tho. Ive done a lot of research and have been around the mountain enough to have a good idea of what I want. I know the prophecies are now the genesis, but Im not sold on those.

I guess what I want to know is what combo you guys think would be a good, affordable setup that would be comparable/better than what I was riding with my buddies gear. Im thinking Burton Cartel/Malavita bindings with some kind of rocker deck. Any help/suggestions would be much appreciated!
