Just riding my brand new never summer sl today.. Checked the bottom of the base and there was 2 deep gouges/scratches not deep enough to the wood core but pretty deep, pretty worried since its brand new what should I do
if the gouge is parallel to the edge, I'd just consider it deep structure and ride it as-is. If it's perpendicular to the edge, I'd probably drip some p-tex in there....but if your base isn't black, it's gonna look like shit.
in our super duper crappy season last year, I got about 10 core shots (wood showing)...one of them was on a brand new board. You'll get over it.
Yeah its peridencular.. Its not a core shot and actually my base is black lol its just pretty deep and brand new, also if little pieces of your sidewall are chipped no worries right?
I'll try to do it when I get home, at a mountain right now and the I mean there's like very little chips in the sidewall like little pieces taken outa it by abuse
