How much does your DIY wax-job cost?

What I would like to know is how much wax you use per wax, and where do you buy your wax and its cost.

I saw on Ebay there is some bulk wax, 32oz for $60.

I have never worked it out, but I don't pay much. The owner of my local shop usually hooks me up with a chunk of wax for $10.00 off of the bulk team wax, and that usually lasts me a couple of seasons. Even when I buy the expensive stuff it lasts me years. But keep in mind nowadays with a kid I go like 2 -5 times a year.
If I had to guess it has to be like $0.17 - $3.87 depending on the bulk wax or pre packaged flouro.

I do up my own recipe from $4/lb canning wax from the grocery store, last me a couple years of waxing 6 boards and 3-4 sets of skis....maybe 0.10 a wax

I use about 3/4" of the bar of wax each time I wax, and I've had the bar since last year. Doing your own wax job is the best and cheapest way to keep your board in good shape.
