Here's what you do.
Buy the board you want. Go to BoardSkins| Snowboard Graphics, Stickers, Wraps, Covers. Choose from their selection of topsheets, or have them create one for you (perhaps from one of your fave photos). Stick it on your board. Problem solved! |

Nightmare Development - MUDSEASON
This one is almost as bad as those Lobster Boards. It's very sexually explicit, so don't click. |

I wasn't going to weigh in on this because in some ways they do and don't matter to me.
If the board is at an amazing deal, I don't give a shit about graphics. If I'm dropping a significant amount of money on it, yes, they do matter. Horrid graphics seem to add a sting to the price tag. If I were in love with that board as you are, I'd tell myself the bindings will cover the palm trees enough to make it look more like an abstract watercolor and less like a Miami Vice Trapper Keeper. |

Graphics aren't that important to me. My new deck has almost a completely white topsheet, if I leave it in a snowbank I'll lose it. Personally unless I find the graphics offensive, or wouldn't want to be associated with what they represent I would buy the deck if it's what I want and fits my riding style. As an aside, I actually like ugly graphics (I bought bright orange and black Gnu Vertighoul) they're different and you won't see a lot of them and worst case it diminishes the likelihood someone will steal your board.
