Prior Purchase Advice
 

I know I am new here, but like most forums, every new person makes their own thread about sizing and purchases.

Maybe we can use this thread for general questions on prior to purchases?

I'll start:

Male, 6'4, 185 lbs, size 12 boot. Beginner.

I was looking at this set up[new]:
Nitro Prime Propaganda Wide 165 ($126)
Ride LX bindings 2012 ($68)
*was also considering Union DLX 2013 ($129) or Ride Rodeo ($150)

What are your thoughts on this setup? I wanted to start off with something relatively cheap for this season to make sure I really like it. Any adjustments you would make?

also, I bought a pair of Dragon Alliance APX goggles with the dark lenses for $70 new on Amazon, seemed like a good deal.

Those are not good gears but definitely cheap and going to be fine for you to start up. When you progress then you'll want a better setup. I'd go for it.
