Hey guys this is my first post, and basically ive done 2 weeks snowboarding before but always used rented gear. Next winter im going to Tignes in France for 5 months snowboarding on our gapyear and was wondering what kinda boards you would recommend, going to be doing a bit of everything , off piste and park.

I am 18 years old 5.9 150Lbs and size 9 shoes

I have been looking at the Proto Ct 154 as it is highly recommended by a lot of people but just wanted to get some other views, I will probably get the K2 Formula bindings but open to better suggestions.

Also what are peoples opinions on the GNU carbon credit??

On a side note how much are board prices likely to drop in the off season because i will look to buy most of my gear at the end of the season/ the summer
