Again thanks. We appear to be very similar in approach to this and hearing your experience with the more rocker style board is giving me more confidence in that direction. I have some homework to do! Again thanks to all for the great info, very much appreciated.

Hybrid. After years on full camber boards I bought a camber/ rocker/ camber board, I'm totally stoked on it. It really does ride like a rocker board with great edge control. Its playful AND precise.
The custom flying V would be a good choice.

Default One Magtek

So still haven't pulled the trigger, and have given up on making a demo just too hard logistically. I'm leaning towards a hybrid and considered the Burton Custom Flying V but prefer other bindings, looked at the K2 Raygun then saw the Rossignol One Magtek might be the better board. Any opinions?

I have a rossignol one magtek and I can say that you will not be disappointed! Its not a very playful board but if you like cruising down the hill making precise cuts this is the board for you, not to mention its amazing in ice

Awesome, thanks! I'm thinking the One Magtek may be the board for me. Believe I'll stay with the rear-entry style bindings, and thinking of the
Flow NX2-AT bindings, any comments or suggestions?

I'm not familiar with too many bindings. Just make sure they are stiff, the board is not playful at all like I said. Its for carving and bombing down the hill
