Hi, I was wondering, what would be a better binding, the Burton Triads, or the Rome Targa's.
I'm planning to get either one, both black and right now they are both on sale for the same price of $179.99. I am an intermediate freerider and am planning to get a Rome Solutions for my board. So, any tips, advice, suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. |

my first inclination is to go with the Rome Targas because you're getting the Solutions.
but I can't find that much information on the Targas and I do like the straps for what appears to be better padding and location. I also like the baseplate coverage on the Triads, specially the 'gas pedal' feature. (I have Freestyles and I can feel the lack of baseplate under the front part of my boots, which I attribute to lack of response time when riding (I have some K2 Cinch CTX's on another board that have full coverage, and it's a world of differnce) |

im not sure if im talking about the same thing you're talking
about but the targas do have fully covered baseplates. personally i would go with the targas. super adjustable and very cheap for their rate of quality. you can adjust the ammount of stiffness in the straps by putting in the second pair of c-flex's or just by removing them. anything and everything is adjustable on the targas which makes it great for dialing in. |

Both bindings are great bindings! I might stick with the Targas tho since you are getting a Rome board, they might be the best together. Although the Triads are nice bindings!.. Its a tuff call..
Check out Shoreline of Tahoe for good deals on both! |
