This year's boots next year?

I need to get some new boots and wanted to wait until the season started to get them, but I want to get them cheap. Will any places, ebay included, have this season's boots on sale next season?

All the shops around Snowmass and Aspen have crazy good sales on the 08 line right now. I saw an 08 Rome flag for 40% off. Buy some boots now for 40 or 50 percent off or maybe chance it and get some beginning of season deals in October or November.

I would get them now as I can't see the deals being any better in the fall but the selection will be that much worse if you wait. Also, you can walk around in them all summer to get them broken in.

for places that would have boots this time of year will be better NOW than at the beginning of next season... usually, the stuff left over is odd sized or stuff that didn't sell for one reason or another. I picked up 2 sets for my daugter at Zummies, they were brand new in the box, but they were 06/07 season. I paid $20 for a pair of 32's and $30 for DC's. I picked up a pair of 07/08Burton's at REI for $80. Like I said.. the further away from this season, the harder it will be to find 07/08 (or older) anything (but especially boots).

for places that have already packed up their seasonal stuff, they sometimes have pre season sales or even mid summer sales (for example, SNIAGRAB here in CO) to get rid of old inventory.

you might check your local Craigs List and see what's available there, you never know what you'll find.

Thanks guys. I would rather get them now, but that's not an option since I don't live near any shops and have no way to try any boots on. I won't have that opportunity until the end of the summer.
