Board width sizing

Whats up everyone, so i haven't bought a new board since 2007 and figured i was a bit overdue. Im currently riding a 154 burton dominant. I was really interested in the ride buckwild. I was wondering if i could size down a bit to a 151, im 5'9 and 170. I know the suggested length would be 153 or even maybe one up but was curious if the extra inch would make a huge difference. I ride on the east coast and probably about 50/50 park/all mountain. I figured a small board would make it a tiny bit softer and easier control. I don't plan on hitting 60ft kickers or riding in crazy deep powder.

Also, the board width is 250mm and i have a 10.5 boot... would i run into any problems?

Appreciate the help
