Good deal? Should I?
Snowboard w/ Flow Bindings
I posted here before asking for advice on my first board. A couple people here, and elsewhere, recommended the Never Summer All Mountain boards. Here's one of them with step in bindings for $400. Spoke to the guy, he says they're pretty much brand new, but he just had ACL surgery so he's selling both of his.
Anyone know anything about these step in back-flip-up bindings? He said they'll fit size 10, which is what I have right now.
Thanks a lot guys! (Sorry again if I'm missing info, newb here)
EDIT: Here's another option if it's smarter to be cheap for my first board...
Ok, after further research, looks like the medium flow bindings won't fit size 10 boots, up to 8.5. Oh well...
Sorry, would probably help if I posted some info, I'm a moron. lol
27 Years old
Size 10 Burton Rulers
5'9" 155-160 lbs
East side (Cleveland, maybe NY) groomers mainly, no park (yet), powder eventually
Its not close to being a new set up, the board is 09-10ish?
I like flow bindings, but those look terrible. I don't know what modle or how old those are but you could get a new decent setup for about the same price maybe even cheaper.
Im sure NS is great but for your first board don't worry about getting NS over anything else. There are lots of good boards out there that will get you down the hill.
Check out evo.com outlet section. There are some super cheap good boards in there. Whiskeymilitia.com also has some boards right now, Wiredsport might have some of last years stuff that would work for you and are great to deal with.
Thanks man, I appreciate all the info. I decided against it after doing some research here. I'm actually gonna pick up the Rossignol board. I talked the guy down quite a bit, so even if I'm not thrilled with it, I'm not out much, and it'll be good enough for me to beat the ever living crap out of for the rest of the season.
