Default Dedicated Powder Board or Forget It.

My bud and I rode our regular boards today in powder (Libtech T-Rice and Yes Pick Your Line). We used to think they were great in powder. Until we walked back to the snowboard rack and pulled out the Hovercrafts. Unbelievable difference. Absolutely no leg fatique with the Hovercraft and a much more enjoyable ride in pow. So if your trying to decide if it is necessary, my advise would be to pull the trigger as soon as you can. All the best!

Crap!
I thought the TRice would be enough in powder.
Where were you riding? I'll be visiting Banff/LL in March. Wonder if I need a pow board.

Yep, you don't realize what you're missing until you hop on a true powder stick on a deep day.

If your visiting Sunshine Village or Lake Louise, just stick with your gameplan. If your going to Castle Mountain, Kicking Horse, Fernie or Revelstoke on a Pow Day, just spend the 399. Best investment you will EVER make. The thing is fucking golden. Just cannot say enough about the surfboard Jeremy Jones calls the Hovercraft I would call it the dreamliner, but Boeing would probably sue me.

Yeah I want a Charlie Slasher next season for a pow stick. Hoping to pick one up on the cheap in the off season.

Definitely true. Doing a season here in Niseko and my Powder Snake has made such a huge difference on those deep days.
