Board Size Worries

I just ordered a Lib Tech Travis Rice 157 with magnetraction. I am 6' 2" and 185 pounds. I plan on doing mostly park and trees. Can anyone tell me if this board is too small? Thanks

Height isnt much of a matter, others will disagree. But im 5'8 195lbs and ride a 155, you should be fine.

I have a Rome Machine 157, and I'm 5'10 and weigh 135 (like 145 w/ gear). All the 156-57s I have demoed in the past work well for me. For you, I think 157 will be allright for length, and the MTX will add edge hold (I think), but just for park + tree. It will probably be pretty good in the woods, but a little less forgiving in the park b/c you will really have to avoid landing tail-heavy. Overall, I think you will be okay, but get a longer board if you are interested in all mountain.

i am also 185lb's i ride a 158 for my park/all mountain setup. you will be fine

You are on the lower end of your range but honestly I think you should be fine for the type of riding you will be doing.

I think the MTX will make up for your shortcomings.....
