quick Q: boot size + board width - Snowboarding Forum

im buying my first board and the one ive decided on is a '58 with a waist of 252. i wear a size 10.5 - 11 US shoe. Is 252 going to wide enough or will i experience alot of toe drag?

You will probably be ok, my board has 250mm and my boots are size 11 and I haven't experienced much problems. Some riders might not feel the same way I do, but overall if you center your bindings well you wont experience much of a drag. Also the stance that you set your bindings at might help you a lot. I ride 14/-14 and I really only experienced toe drag once in a very slushy day.
