Hey everyone, I've been snowboarding on and off for a couple years now, and I decided its time to buy my first real board.

I'd say I'm intermediate, I can link turns, do some intermediate hills and get up some speed. I'm 5'7" about 120 lbs & want a quality board that doesn't wreck my pocketbook. I went to play it again sports to check sizes and tried on some 143, 147 and 150 boards and I think I like the 147 the best. I also want to try a rocker board, because I eventually want to try some park, and mess around a bit but I do, by default, go mostly all mountain when I go because everyone I go with does that. Also I'm from the midwest so theres not really any powder. Northern, Illinois and lower Wisconsin to be specific. Also about the rocker, I really got sick of catching weird edges with my friends camber board, which was a guys board and I think a little too big for me. So after doing a lot of online research I'm stuck between 3 boards. The Ride Rapture, Ride Compact and DC Biddy. I'm definately leaning towards the Compact because it seems like the most for my money. It has lowrize rocker which seems good because I dont want to be sliding all over the mountain on ice that sometimes happens here. I can't really find much difference between the Compact and Rapture other then Rapture claims to be a bit more beginner, is 30$ cheaper, doesn't have slimewalls and has one point less flex. The ones I'm looking at are the 2012 models. The DC Biddy has great reviews also, cool graphics and a weird anti camber core which seems to get good praise also.

heres the DC Biddy

I found the compact listed on some top 10 womens snowboards lists and I believe all 3 of these won some kind of award. If anyone has any experience with these or advice in general that would be fantastic. Thanks!
