It is on the rear of the board, im going on a trip soon and just kinda want to know if this is going to mess me up. Its an old board and not in the best shape but i don't have the money to get a new one or used.

That's a contact point Donutz. That's going to effect the ride. If you're competent with knowing how to cut a base out and hammer the edge back then fill the hole you created and epoxy the edge back together go for it. Otherwise slap epoxy on it and just be prepared for some minor edge wash out on ice.
