Need help picking a setup
Looking to upgrade from my crap board and bindings.
I have around a $350-$400 budget. I would love to have an All-Mountain or All Mountain/Freestyle Board & Bindings. Gender: Male My height is 5'5. My weight is 120 lbs. Boot size is 8. Experience: Beginner-Intermediate Could you guys help me with some recommended board+binding setups. So far I've become interested in the TruSnow Sierra Stunt and Rome S90 package: Discount Snowboards, Discount Snowboard Bindings, Discount Snowboard Boots, Snowboard Sales, Burton Snowboard Sales Please help! |
Check out some of the specials at Status Snowboards. I have a Uno Series board and I love it. I had never heard of the company, but at this price point, I decided to give it a go and I have been pleasantly surprised.
2012 Uno Series : STATUS Snowboard Company I imagine the 151 would be a reasonable choice based on your spec's. Throw on some K2 Formula bindings (Medium). K2 Formula Snowboard Binding 2012 | Aspen Ski and Board Highly suggest you try on some boots before ordering anything online. Improperly fitted boots will ruin the whole experience. Still a lot of decent deals to be had. |
150 K2 Raygun with Formulas.
Easy peasy :) |
Thanks you guys for the advice! I dont know either to pick the K2 Raygun, Status Uno, or a Ride Machete. Plus, ill probably be getting the formulas if not union flites
|
K2 Raygun is one of the best all-mountain boards available. Never owned one personally, but after trying a friends' I wish I had one as my first board.

Hmmm well i found a really good deal for the 2012 ride machete. So how about the ride machete vs. the k2 raygun. I havent been able to find much reviews on the status uno

Status is a newer company that has a direct to customer sales approach. Because of that they seem to have a hard time getting their name out there. But they are a top quality board with an awesome hybrid camber. Definitely worth looking into. I love my status UNO
