Old man riding 2012 nug for his first board?
hey all,
going out west in feb. with my dad and little brother and my friend has agreed to let us borrow his nug 146 for my dad to use. I thought this would be a good choice for him because of the v-rocker which would probably lead to less edges being caught and less pain for my dad. he is 50 and too many hard falls would definitely cut his day short. He has been boarding before but not for 3-4 years so i would consider him a complete beginner. he is coordinated and 5'11" 170 pounds. Just wondering if you guys think the nug would be a good choice for him to re-learn on or if we should try and grab a longer rental instead. FYI if you didnt already know the nug is designed to be ridden 8-10cm shorter than what you would normally ride so I consider it a 154-156. Another choice i have is my last years setup that i could borrow from a friend who i sold it to-a 157 DC PBJ with ride LX. thanks guys.
