Forum Darkness or Lander?
I am currently looking into purchasing my first snowboard. I have been snowboarding for quite a few seasons now, and figured its time to get into it a bit more. I am tossing up between the Forum Lander or Darkness (I have big feet).
I live in Australia and will be spending the winter season on the slopes (in case no one knows, Australia doesnt get powder). I mostly enjoy riding ungroomed slopes but still enjoy having a play in the park. I am considering the Darkness for the twin and a bit more park orientated but considering I prefer more back country stuff I am unsure of whether its worth getting it.
I will be spending the northern hemisphere winter in Japan next year so i will be spending a lot of time riding powder and this is another reason I am consider the Lander.
So i basically want a board that can carve some big back country slopes and hit a few natural gaps/drops and yet still want something i can use effectively in the park. I have probably made it rather difficult for myself, but this is what Im after.
If there is another board out there, that might cater for what Im after, please let me know.
