190lbs 5'5 snow board size help. - Snowboarding Forum

Hey guys im a beginner to intermediate rider, i need help picking a size for a new board, im currently ridding a 155 and it seams ok, kinda hard to turn but i thinks its mostly because im not that advanced yet. My style i ride is just freeride. If i go by wieght charts say to go with like a 160cm and if i go by my height it says to ride like a 152cm so im really cunfused. If you guys can help me out to choose the right size. Thank you

I'm 5'8" and usually around 195-200lbs. I normally ride a 156. I started on a 160 but the more comfortable I became riding the more it seemed to big for me. I would suggest renting a larger board if you think that may be your issue, and try it out for a day.

I personally like having a "shorter" board for my hieght and weight.
